A SeeU concert from 2014 in Seoul, South Korea which featured Yanhe as a special guest. Around the time of this event, VSINGER (then going by the name VOCANESE) collaborated heavily with SeeU, hence Yanhe’s appearance at the event. This was Yanhe’s first live performance.

Yanhe performed two songs— 心之光 / Light of the Heart and 刀剑春秋 / The Age of Sword and Blade. Footage has not been uncovered of these performances in full, though you can see a sample at 03:23 below. The Yanhe model created for this concert, which depicted Yanhe with a realistically portioned body and face, was never used again after this event.

Luo Tianyi New Hologram Live Unveiling

December 5-8, 2014


A set of performances at the POPULAR SCIENCE PRODUCTS EXPO in Shanghai, China. Shanghai Henian said on Weibo that it was “a stage to give back to fans who have always supported Luo Tianyi”.

It was referred to as Tianyi’s first holographic show, as it’s the first time she performed multiple songs live, but notably isn’t Tianyi’s first live performance— check the Performance Clips page for more information.

A concert held at the Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center featuring Tianyi, Yanhe, and Ling. This would be Ling’s first time ever appearing at a live event.

Bilibili Macro Link 2016

Bilibili Macrolink is an in-person concert event that occurs at least once every year since 2013. A variety of singers— from VTubers, to Japanese and Chinese seiyuu, to VOCALOID— are invited to perform live at The Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. The event is organized by the video streaming service, Bilibili, and is streamed live on the website.

Tianyi appeared as a special guest at BML 2016 and sang three songs.

Melody Across the Stars Event

In 2016, Tianshi Henian Entertainment Group (a VR/holographic technology company) held a brand strategy conference for shareholders. This conference was livestreamed, and included a performance by all of the VSINGER characters. While Qingxian and Moke did not have their voices at this time, they still danced alongside the rest of the group.

This is the first time Longya appeared at a live performance— his voicebank would release the next year. It was also announced at this conference that VSINGER would have their first large scale concert in 2017.

Xu Song's Youth Evening News Tour Guest Appearance

March 18, 2017

Singer Xu Song released a song with Tianyi, entitled 深夜书店 / Late Night Bookstore. The day after its release, his tour, "Youth Evening News", began in Shanghai. Tianyi came on as an opener to perform her own music and the new single.

VSINGER LIVE 2017

VSINGER’s very first full length concert as a group. Qingxian and Moke’s VOCALOID4 voicebanks, as well as Tianyi’s Chinese and Japanese VOCALOID4 voicebanks, were heard for the first time here. The VOD for the concert has over 6 million views.

In 2017, all of VSINGER performed at BML VR 2017. Their set was made up of performances they had done a few days prior at VSINGER LIVE 2017.

This concert is split into two halves— the first half has an opening performance by Tianyi, followed by performances from the character Miss Monochrome, VOCALOID Stardust, and VOCALOID IA. The second half has an opening set by MUTA voicebank Yan Xi, followed by Tianyi, Yanhe, Ling, and Longya, with a closing performance by 2233, the Bilibili mascots.

Luo Tianyi & Yanhe’s 2018 Birthday Party

In 2018, a joint celebration of Tianyi and Yanhe’s birthdays (their 6th and 5th respectively) took place due to the dates being so close. This is a mix of a concert and in-person interaction between Tianyi/Yanhe and the audience, with the models being motion captured during audience interaction segments. Their speaking voices were provided by Shan Xin and Seira Ryu, Tianyi and Yanhe’s voice providers— at one point in the concert, they each had a duet with their respective VOCALOID daughters.

This took place at the Shanghai Grand Theatre, sponsored by in-music. For those who couldn’t go to the event in person, it was livestreamed on the Dance Dream Factory App.

Bilibili Macro Link - VISUAL RELEASE 2018 x VSINGER LIVE

The entirety of VSINGER performed once again at BML VR, appearing on the first day.

For this event, brand new models and new outfits were given to all of VSINGER to match the theme that year of Playing Cards. Tianyi’s Japanese VOCALOID4, which had released just a few months prior, also had a new model made to match its outfit. While the outfits would be used again in future concerts, they would have their heads swapped out to the standard VSINGER model type.

Though highly anticipated, some fans were upset regarding two key points of this concert:

This concert was close to the release date of Qingxian and Moke’s VOCALOID4 voicebanks, meaning their voices were complete at this point. Following their performances in 2017 (where they danced in silence alongside the rest of the group to 普通DISCO / Ordinary DISCO), they had teased that they wouldn’t be kneeling (what they were doing during part of the dance) during next year’s performance. However, when Ordinary DISCO was performed again at BML 2018, Qingxian and Moke did not sing during it.

A new group song, Hear me! was created to celebrate VSINGER’s origins— how the group was conceptualized as a band during VOCALOID CHINA PROJECT, with Tianyi as its singer. As a result, during Hear me!, only Tianyi sung while everyone performed their assigned instruments. While this makes sense for her role, fans were angry that the group didn’t sing together, especially now that Qingxian and Moke had their long awaited voices. Following this, the group performance of Hear me! during VSINGER LIVE 2020 would have the rest of the VSINGER characters singing the chorus alongside Tianyi.

In late 2018, Bilibili Macrolink 2018 would have a performance in the Cadillac Theatre in Beijing. All of VSINGER would appear, and performed a short set of songs taken from VSINGER LIVE 2018. Qingxian and Moke appeared alongside the group in Hear me!, but because the version with the entire group singing wouldn't be implemented for another two years, they did not sing at all during this concert.

The main difference between this concert and VSINGER LIVE 2018 aside from the above parts is that Tianyi and Longya do some crowd interaction toward the halfway point of their set, which is very cute.

Luo Tianyi & Lang Lang Hologram Concert

In 2019, Tianyi held a collaboration concert with Lang Lang, a famous, award-winning Chinese pianist, at The Mercedes-Benz Arena. Tianyi performed her songs alongside Lang Lang’s piano accompaniment. They also played an original song between Lang Lang and Tianyi, 雨滴 / Raindrops, which was released as a single after the concert.

This event was not livestreamed, and only two of the performances have been professionally recorded. A "full recording" stitched together through fancams, official footage, and pictures can be found here.

Yuezheng Ling Online Birthday Party 2019

To avoid having all of the VSINGER characters celebrate their birthdays around the same time since they all have released in July, characters like Ling, Longya, Qingxian, and Moke were all given “character birthdays” that they celebrate instead. In 2019, Ling held a digital livestream to celebrate her 4th character birthday on April 12th.

Like Tianyi and Yanhe’s joint birthday celebration, this had a mix of performances and audience interaction (via the livestream comments, watchers could receive prizes), though it was all prerecorded.

Lychee Sound Festival

In 2019, Tianyi had an appearance at the Lizi Sound Festival and performed a few songs. Following her performance, she stayed onstage to do some crowd interaction.

Tianyi had an in-person 7th birthday celebration similar to the one she and Yanhe had in 2018. This was livestreamed online on Bilibili for those who did not attend in-person.

The entirety of VSINGER made an appearance at BML VR 2019, with new outfits once again. A portion of the songs performed at this event were previously performed at the Lang Lang concert a few months prior.

VSINGER performed their group song Attack!, which was made specifically for BML 2019 to commemorate them as “VSINGER6” (that is, the original VOCALOID CHINA PROJECT group plus Yanhe).

Hatsune Miku and the rest of Crypton’s VOCALOID2 would perform following VSINGER, with VOCALOID Kaito and Meiko appearing physically but not singing. Following an encore, Tianyi and Miku GOT ON STAGE AT THE SAME TIME, TALKED, AND PERFORMED TOGETHER. WATCH THE FUCKING VOD RIGHT NOW YOU NEED TO SEE THIS.



Tianyi returned to BML the next day as a special guest to perform two songs.

In 2020, Tianyi began activities on her Douyin account. During this particular livestream, she did a mix of speaking to the audience and performing... she did a LOT of talking actually, this might be the most she's ever spoken at one event.

Luo Tianyi Birthday Party

Due to COVID canceling in-person events, Tianyi held a fully digital birthday livestream. This was her 8th birthday, and it was regarded as an important milestone, with a look back at all of her achievements thus far— at one point, Tianyi points out that 8 is special because it’s the shape of her hair loops (and the infinity symbol).

This party also held the release of Tianyi's first official digital album, titled "Moments".

VSINGER had planned to have another concert in 2020 following their performance at BML VR 2019, but had to rethink the concert following COVID. It was announced that VSINGER would still have a concert in 2020, but would be digital only and only available to watch on Youku, a Chinese video streaming platform. This concert uses AR technology to have VSINGER perform on a real life stage, and they sing alongside real, in-person background dancers. Due to the flexibility to the tech, there exists both a regular camera angle and a "close up" camera angle that viewers can toggle on Youku.

Shanghai Henian considers any reuploads of this concert to be piracy. That being said, as noted on the top of the page, we have zero way of purchasing this concert, and you probably don't either. Tianyi performed a handful of songs at BML VR 2021. Kano, the Japanese internet singer who provided some recordings for Tianyi’s Japanese voicebank, sang alongside Tianyi for a duet of 嘘つきは恋のはじまり / Lies Are The Start Of Love.

Tianyi held an in-person 9th birthday party for herself that acted similar to past in-person celebrations, with a mix of singing and crowd interaction.

Luo Tianyi’s 10th Anniversary Birthday Concert

To celebrate her 10th anniversary and character birthday, Tianyi held an online-only concert that was livestreamed on both Bilibili and Weibo. This was the first concert to use Tianyi’s ACE Studio voicebank (still in production at the time).

Kano, who Tianyi had sung with at BML 2021, made an appearance and sang another duet with Tianyi.

Luo Tianyi 11th Birthday Party

Tianyi held a digital livestream to celebrate her 11th birthday.

Something notable about this stream is the promotional art for it (linked above), which features Tianyi in an orange outfit. Fans hated this outfit so much (because it was orange and not blue, Tianyi's signature color), that all subsequent promotional images for the stream do not feature it, and the outfit does not show up at the birthday party (the first and only time this has happened).

The outfit would reappear in the future, recolored blue, for various performances.

Yanhe's 10th Anniversary Birthday Party

To celebrate her 10th anniversary and character birthday, Yanhe held a digital only livestream concert. It was originally meant to broadcast on her actual birthday date (July 11), but technical issues pushed the date back a bit.

The beginning portion of the livestream had Yanhe go over notable original songs and covers from the last 10 years. The concert itself starts roughly 25 minutes in.

Tianyi performed as one of the opening acts of BML 2023.

She performed a medley of Disney songs in English, which Shanghai Henian would call Magical Melody. The songs included Once Upon A Dream (from “The Sleeping Beauty”), Part of Your World (from “The Little Mermaid”), How Far I'll Go (from “Moana”), Let it go (from “Frozen”), and Try Everything (from “Zootopia”).

Following this, she also sung 一花依世界 / Floral Wonderland of Luo Tianyi.

Luo Tianyi's "Singing Universe" Infinite Resonance Holographic Concert

Singing Universe is Tianyi's first offline solo concert, and the first full blown in-person concert (birthday parties are not considered "concerts" by SHN or fans) since VSINGER LIVE 2019. On top of having the concert, Shanghai Henian announced the "Infinite Travel Offline Exhibition" would be up alongside it— this was a exhibition full of Tianyi merchandise, artwork, statues, and so on.

Singer Gong Linna and VTuber Aza made special guest appearances at this concert and performed alongside Tianyi. Ling also appeared, though did not sing.

A livestream was not conducted. Instead, Shanghai Henian uploaded a VOD to purchase on Bilibili that would cost 30 RMB a month to watch. Shanghai Henian considers any reuploads of this concert to be piracy. That being said, as noted on the top of the page, we have zero way of purchasing this concert, and you probably don't either. Yuezheng Ling 10th Anniversary Birthday Party

To celebrate her 10th character birthday, Ling held a livestream birthday party. This livestream was met with much love from fans, and is an absolutely must watch event.

The performance of the song "Redline", which was teased in the promotional trailer for the concert but did not show up, was uploaded and paywalled on Bilibili following the initial livestream. You know the deal about piracy, be responsible.
